The Mombasa based Lawyer beat a field of 155 other golfers to win the Nyali leg of The Standard County Golf Classic on a good score of 40 points beating William Kaguta on countback. The Handicap 13 golfer was on top form playing 19 points on the 1st Nine and 21 points on the back nine.

William Kaguta won the men’s category on 40 points as Anthony Getambu emerged men’s runner up with 36 points beating John Smith on countback.

In other categories, Nathan Ngweno was junior winner on 37 points, the handicap 27 junior played 17 points on the front nine and 20 points on the back nine. Salim Bwika, a member of Nyali was the staff winner on 27 points.
