Nyali Golf & Country Club plays host the Inaugural Kenya Open Golf Limited Safari Tour from 18th to the 22nd of August. This is just two weeks after hosting the Inaugural Africa Zone IV tournament. The Safari Tour began with a Pro-Am event on the 18th to be followed by four rounds for the professionals .
The Pro-Am event had a field of 98 amateurs and 30 professionals. The team of Riz Charania(pr0), Said Bajaber, Reaz Alibhai and Justin Kaburu carried the day on a score of 82 Netentplay. In second place was Sigona’s C. J. Wangai(pro), Lemmy Kaburu, Pauline Gichara and William Kaguta on a score of 81 and in third position was the team of Greg Snow(pro), Paul Krijnen, Joseph Oluoch and Nimisha Shah.

In the individual amateur category, Joyce Kamau’s 41 points were sufficient to earn her the overall winner position. Sanjay Kotecha was the men winner with 40 points beating Martin Wahome on countback. Truphena Oyaro was the lady winner on a good score of 39 points.
